I’m a third-year Industrial Design major, President of the Georgia Tech chapter of IDSA (Industrial Designers Society of America), Freelancer, and occasional writer on my blog Design Does That.
I’m interested in collaborating on projects that involve traditional product design, wearables, service design, and soft goods. My process puts a focus on market and user research, since I believe good solutions come from a good understanding of the problem.
Most importantly, I’m passionate about participatory design, design for underrepresented communities, and designing from a woman’s perspective.
In my free time, you might find me reading, writing, thrifting, sewing, playing guitar, or spending quality time with the people I love.

She actively sought feedback and was genuinely interested in constructive criticism to further improve her skills. Her openness to learning and adapting made her an invaluable asset to our team, as she continuously refined her craft. Beyond her impressive skills, Rebecca's positive attitude and collaborative nature made her a joy to work with. She effortlessly connected with team members and demonstrated strong teamwork and communication skills, fostering a supportive and productive work environment. It was a pleasure having Rebecca as part of our team, and I am excited to see the bright future that lies ahead for her.”
I worked with Rebecca Scarbrough on multiple projects, each vastly different in nature, and I was consistently impressed with her visionary approach, attention to detail, and creative spirit. She has an incredible ability to transform complex ideas into beautifully articulated designs. The final outcomes were nothing short of perfection, bringing our visions to life seamlessly. One of Rebecca’s greatest strengths is her passion for her craft—it flows through her work, making each project unique and impactful. I highly recommend working with Rebecca!
